Privacy Policy

Short version: OurScreen is designed so your recordings, projects, imported media, camera video, microphone audio, board content, and exported files stay on your Mac unless you choose to share them.

Local app data

The OurScreen Mac app stores recordings and projects locally, stored by default under ~/Movies/OurScreen unless you choose another location. We do not need an account or cloud upload for the core app.

Website trial and launch list

If you join the trial, launch, or product update list, we store your email address, optional name, optional creator type, optional Mac/macOS details, optional use-case note, source page, signup timestamp, and country code from Cloudflare so we can invite selected testers and send product launch updates. You can ask to be removed at any time.

Payments

When paid checkout is enabled, payment details are handled by our merchant of record or payment provider. OurScreen may receive limited order information such as your email address, product purchased, order status, and license status so we can activate and support your account.

Analytics

The site should use privacy-consistent analytics only, such as Cloudflare Web Analytics or Plausible. Do not add Google Analytics without revisiting this policy.
